March 2011:
An educational opportunity after our chapter meeting facilitated by
Leslie Plouse-Nixon awarded participants with 2 contact hours following
completion of Q&A for two articles about thromboembolism and
chemotherapy induced nausea/vomiting.

Welcome Shannon Christiansen, our first pharmacist associate member!
February 2011:
“Pass the Hat” Hematology night with guest speaker Dr. Thomas Manley was
a fun and educational way to celebrate Valentine’s Day. And to top it
off, Dr. Manley also joined SEAPHON, becoming our first physician
associate member!
November 2010:
Our second bake sale fundraiser “Support SEAPHON: It’s a Piece of Cake”
was a sweet success. The event raised $1000 for our chapter! Thank you
to all who supported the event by baking, selling and buying.
October 2010: “Brrr - It’s Chili Outside”! Several SEAPHON members and supporters prepared a home cooked meal for families at Ronald McDonald House. We had a fun evening of laughter, peer support and teamwork. Thanks to all who participated. We welcome your ideas for future community service projects.
